He teaches creative writing, podcasting, and literature at Queens College, CUNY. Raised in Southern California, now he splits his time between the Catskills and New York City.
Jason spoke about his excitement for the mentorship program, “I love the surprise of opening up a piece of writing, not knowing what I’ll find. There’s a person in every piece of writing, reflected in its forms and themes. I enjoy helping writers hone their work and realize their aspirations. ”
What’s the last book that Jason couldn’t put down? Hanif Abdurraqib’s Go Ahead in the Rain: Notes to a Tribe Called Quest.
