about the author
Richard Wiley is author of numerous stories and the novels Soldiers In Hiding (winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award for Best American Fiction), Fools’ Gold, Festival for Three Thousand Maidens, and Indigo. His most recent novel, Commodore Perry’s Minstrel Show, was published by the Michener Series at the University of Texas Press in 2007. His novel The Book of Important Moments will be published in the fall of 2013.
